Story:
The story of Black Blood Brothers begins a full 10 years after a great war in Hong Kong against the Kowloon Children, a species similar to vampires, but capable of turning humans and vampires alike into one of their own with a single bite. Vampires, who had formerly lived in secrecy, were forced to rise up and show themselves to humanity to combat this new threat. In what was known as the “Hong Kong Crusade,” humans and vampires cooperated to destroy all of the Kowloon Children. The city of Hong Kong was largely destroyed in the process and in the aftermath of the crusade, a new city where vampires could live peacefully. A heroic vampire of the war, Jirou Mochizuki, who pledged to destroy every link to the Kowloon blood line, goes on to return to Japan with his younger brother, Kotaro.
Hoping to find a new life and residence inside the so-called “Special Zone”, Jirou and his brother travel to the city with a human companion. Things are not what they seem in the Special Zone, however, and fighting soon erupts on all sides. Desperately trying to avoid conflict, Jirou's hand is forced into action when his brother Kotaro is abducted by surviving members of the Kowloon Children.
Bombarded on all sides by those trying to keep the peace in the Special Zone as well as the Kowloon Children hatching their own plot for vengeance, Black Blood Brothers never fails to dissapoint with nonstop action coupled with a fascinating storyline.
